The Queue's sound is distinct, yet familiar. With a genre best defined as “neo-retro”, they meticulously blend together the singability of Brit-pop with the edge of American alt-rock and encapsulate a musical palette of work ranging from riff-driven blues rock (T-Rex, The Rolling Stones) to the anthemic (Oasis, The Verve).
Since the inception of the group in early 2006, founding member and frontman, Sean Michael Mulligan (lead vox, guitars, keys, chief songwriter and producer) has been at the core at the group with successes ranging from performing on Fox's “The Next Great American Band” to sharing stages with artists Marcy Playground to Kings of Leon.
In 2016, Krystof Kr joined Sean as a powerhouse centrficial force. As a songwriter and leader (and founder) in his prior projects (Veritae & Hellshock), has been featured on performance bills with Korn, Filter, and Disturbed.
The Queue returns with their single “Stop Putting Me On”, recorded live, with a release date of January 17, 2025 on all major streaming platforms leading up their next late spring/summer release of “Fire & Lies, pt. 2”
